Medical Test for Parents GC

Hi all - I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if this question has been asked previously.

I am thinking about filing GC for my parents who are in the US. I am particularly interested about knowing the medical examination procedure...What kind of medical examination is needed? What if they have some blood pressure/heart or any other medical problem? Will that be a cause to deny GC?

Check instructions for health form or better find a surgeon close by and go there: he'll know what to do and may answer your question WAY better then people here on forum.

They mostly check for AIDS(?), hepatitis, shots, and TB. Cholesterol, sugar level and such are out of questions. However some people on this forum were talking about preconditions, but neither gave an example. Frankly, I don't think that high blood pressure or heart murmurs will be something to stop from getting a card, but I may be wrong. Again, talk to the doctor directly.
