Medical RFE

TSC has issued a RFE for medical examination even though i had submitted everything when i filed for 485 in OCT - 2003.
Is this normal? Why wud they issue RFE when my last medical was done not more than a year ago? Intrestingly they did not issue same RFE for my wife, yet.

My friend recd an RFE on Medical who filed on Oct 30 2003 last friday..

Medical RFE is issued 'cos previous medical is valid only for ONe year..

Another friend recd the same filed on OCt 15 2003 in Memphis has cleared after taking the exam once again..

It is an expense..Worth the effort..

All applicants for adjustment of status are required to have a medical examination. Results of the medical examination are valid for 1 year before you file I-485. After you file I-485, they are valid forever as long as I-485 is pending.

A lot of times USCIS civil surgeons do not do a good job of completely filling out the forms. It is better to just go ahead and redo the whole thing again.
