Dear All,

My spouse received RFE which states:
Your original Form I-693 is being returned to you at this time. You are requested to return to the physician who completes your medical examination to obtain completed supplemental Form to I-693 to establish that you are current for all recommended age-specific immunizations or that you have received a wavier of that requirement in accordance with section 212 (g) of the Act. After supplemental Form and the I-693 have been completed and signed by your physician you must return both forms to this service. Please note that both forms must be returned to this service in an unopened envelope that has been sealed by your examining physician.

My question:

Now we moved from my previous state VA to Califronia. Can I go to new INS Certified doctor and get new new set of Medical test and reply to USCIS. Or I have to go back Virgina and find that doctor. Please note that I dont have lawyer so I am seeking help here in this fourm as always.

Does anybody have any releated information, suggestion?

Thank you in an advance!

i don't have a direct experience with similar situation but would suggest the following:

A: contact the old physician and see whether they will agree to do the required if you mail them the documentation. it might be something they missed.
B: Do it all over again. Explain in a letter that you have moved and used a local physician to redo the medical.

hope this helps. whatever you decide to do, do not stress too much about it.

I had a similar RFE. The freaking doctor forgot to sign the waiver form. In my case I was able to go back to the Doctor and got a signed copy. gc2005nyc is correct - you could go to a local doctor and get this done all over again if required.

I got the same RFE and got my shots and took the certificates to the doctor. The doctor re-signed the same application, attached the I-693 supplement along with the proof of shots in a sealed cover and after we sent it we got approved in 2 weeks.

May be you can give it a try to see if the new doctor in your area can use your old I-693 and attach the requested I-693 supplement to it.

I tried to contact the previous doctor but I could. I hope I will visit local USCIS approved doctor tomorrow. I hope he will have some suggestion.

Thanks everybody
