Medical results

Hi guys,

quick question, we just recieved the medical results from the Dr office in Sydney, Australia

the results were not in a sealed envolpe, do they need to be in a sealed envlope, as I read that they needed to be sealed somewhere, but if they need to be sealed how to do you photocopy them?

Cheers,

Mine weren't either. So I photocopied them. Then called the doctors office and requested and envelope with their stamp on it - went down and picked that up and then put the copies and the original in the envelope. Funny thing tho - the consulate gave me back my copies - so it seems copies of the actual medical are not required.

I did read about a doctor in queensland doing the copies for you and putting the copies and original in a sealed envelope. So that is why I did that. :)

The embassy doesn't need to copies because they keep the originals of the medical records! My doctor in Switzerland gave me the copies and put the originals in the envelope.

thanks for your reply guys,
I am so confused, I rang both doctors in sydney and they both said they never give the results in a closed envolpe :(

Seems like this is common practice in Australia so don't worry, you'll be fine! Good luck!

I totally understand (I was the same way)! After the interview you'll probably think "that was it?" lol
