My question is we already submitted Medical reports along with I-485. Do we need to redo medical exam ????

Very appreciate to the feedback of your experience

Probably, the doctor might have recommended something for you or for your wife to take some medication when you initially went for medical. Try to remember, do you have copies of what he has put in sealed cover. I took a copy of it before the doctor's office sealed it. If you have one, please check.
And if this guess is true, they might be asking for the follow up whether you have taken that medication or not. For some medical problems, the guideline is to encourage the patient to take medicaton. For example, if you were tested positive for TB, and your x-ray looked good, the doctor should encourage you to take some medication to prevent TB but it is not a must to take the medication. If something like this happened in your case, they may want to check your medicals again to see if you have taken the recommeneded medication. If you have not taken also, they are asking you to appear and so you don't need to do the medical again, I think. But if you did take the medication, it is better to take the i-693.
This is my guess. . .

I do not think you need to redo the medical exam. I have read some threads posted in this forum that they brought a copy of the medical exam that is orginally filed with I-485 to the interview without any problem. The medical exam will expire in 12 months before you submit your I-485. And as long as the medical is valid at the time you apply for I-485, it is legally ok for BCIS. Please read this link: http://www.bcis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-693.htm. That is only my opinion. You may call the Newark office or your lawyer to make sure. And good luck to your interview!
