I got I140 approved and went for the medical checkup. The doctor asked me to get MMR and chicken pox (vericella) shots from outside, I went to Gateway for the shots, they only had MMR shots but didnt have chicken pox shots, so I took the MMR shot and then went to the doctor. I told the doctor that due to unavailabilty of Chicken pos shots I was unable to take, then in the I -693 form there are two columns under the Immunization Determination, he marked Applicant is not current for recommended age-specific immunization and I have encouraged that appropriate immunizations to be obtained. The doctor did not fill the additional form where all the
obtained immunizations is filled.
Does this cause a trouble.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

chicken pox (vericella)

If you have had chicken pox in past, then you dont need to take these
shots, coz once a person has that chicken pox, he is immune to Varicella.
I told my doctor i had chicken pox in past, then he just wrote on the I-693 form that i am immune to Varicella.
In case, doctor has advised in the letter that you should take it later, then you will get such a letter from INS in future suggesting to take that shot.
This will not hamper your GC approval process, except that unless you submit all docs required, then can you get a plastic card.

However, do check with others, i have written as per my experience and folks around me.
Cheers
