I got I140 approved and went for the medical checkup. The doctor asked me to get MMR and chicken pox (vericella) shots from outside, I went to Gateway for the shots, they only had MMR shots but didnt have chicken pox shots, so I took the MMR shot and then went to the doctor. I told the doctor that due to unavailabilty of Chicken pos shots I was unable to take, then in the I -693 form there are two columns under the Immunization Determination, he marked Applicant is not current for recommended age-specific immunization and I have encouraged that appropriate immunizations to be obtained. The doctor did not fill the additional form where all the
obtained immunizations is filled.
Does this cause a trouble.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

please go to a good doctor in your area....

don\'t waste your time with stupid fools....or else you will face unnecessary delays later on.......

the doctor should know what he is doing/talking about....is he a INS authorized doctor......

ask other people\'s help to find a good doctor ....

which state are you in?....

take care....

if it helps.....

well...since you are from CT...it might not be a big deal for you....I know a good doctor in NJ and you might be able to drive there...in case you are having too much trouble locating a good doctor closeby......

you can go there on a Saturday also I guess....his name is Dr. Mohammed Chaudhary....his office is in Lawrenceville,NJ...and he is a good one...I know from my personal experience....you can also try and talk to his office in case you want to clear any doubts....if you need the number let me know and I will find out for you......

you just have to walk in there....it doesn\'t take more than 30 mins for the whole process.....he will do physical check-up and take a blood sample.....from the blood sample itself he will find out if you need to take any vaccinations....that way you don\'t have to take unnecessary shots if you don\'t have their records.....when the report comes he will let you know if any shots need to be taken.....you can then go there and he will give you the shots and the report same day itself by hand...no postal hassles and bullshit like that....

also he will do a TB skin test...in case you don\'t want that (since you have to go back after 48 hours to show the skin reaction)....then you can get a chest x-ray done(which is a confirmatory test over and above the skin test and is done if the reaction comes positive)....he will refer you to his friend who is close-by....pay $60 for the x-ray and they will send the report directly to Chaudhary\'s office......

if you need more info let me know.....

hope it helps....
take care.......
