Medical for CP !!!! Vaccinations

Gurus,

Can anybody shed some light on what shots are usually given during medical checkup ?????

Also, what kind on vaccination record is needed from here to say that you have the immunities ??? IS it a plain peice of paper from doctor ? hospital ????

i am going thru AOS and had to get MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) and TD (Tetnus, Deptheria). I think the requirement for CP should be the same for innoculations
 
Once they give u the shots they will give u a certificate that will say the immunizations have been given and it will say the date. It will be best if you can go thru ur HMO/PPO else it costs about 60-90$ PP to get the shots outside. Dont tell UR PCP that u need it for the GC but say that u need it for ur records or something like that else they may not be willing to give u the shots. U can also try to get it in India.

Here is a list of imminization/vaccinations as I gathered
( I believe this can vary depending on the Country)
Please note, even though this is the list I have shown to my
primary care physician, this may not be the full and accurate list.

So do not assume this to be the official list. This is just the info.
that I have.


Mumps
Measles
Rubella
( The above 3 together called as MMR )

Polio
Tetanus
Diphteria
Pertussin
Hepatitis B
Vericella (chicken pox)

Apart from this tests are required to rule out the follwing:

TB - First X-ray ( followed by sputum test if there is a doubt)
HiV

The physician will decide based on the lab results which of these
are required. Normally all the people will not require all the
shots.

Actual me & my wife we were planning for a baby immediatly after coming back and did'nt knew what implication these shots have on planning. I know for fact that you have to wait 6 months after MMR shot before you can plan for baby.

Anyway this is not a baby planning forum I will ask those questions to my doctor.
