Medical Exams - Please share your experience

Hey Guys,

I have an interview next month. One of the times requested in my appointment letter is the results of my medial exams. I submitted medical exam results with my initial I-485 application. Also, I received an RFE in June, which do not ask to re-do my medical exams. The question is, do they want me to re-do the medical exams, or they want me to bring in the results of the exams that I submitted with my initial application? Would appreciate it if you could share your experience, or provide helpful comments.

Thanks,

Gino

Why did u submitted medical resuts with your 485 application??? For Asylum based 485 you wait till USCIS send u the notice to do that.
I'm not sure but I have a feeling u again have to do so.
By the way what's your ND? I haven't heard much asylees were asked for interview why they did in your case.
Don't worry everything will be fine. Wish u get approved soon. :) :) :) :) :)

Thanks for your reply. I submitted my medical exam results with I-485 application on my lawyer's recommendation. Actually, you're required to submit medical exam results with your initial application, at least that's how I understood it!

U are right but that's for employment based 485. As I 've read instructions it clearly says for asylum based 485 you don't.
U know my friend this entire immigration system is so weird that no one can really cealify you anything. If you go by immigration rules & regulations that's in a very complex language which could carry different meanings. Noting is simple. In another words you could interpret one thing one way & someone could do the same thing in completely in a different way. Therefore it's hard to come to a decision.
Also I have noticed lot of cases may be same but treated different .U & I file our 485 at the same time but may be your's will be approved this year mine will be 2/3 yrs later or who knows may be even later date. I know know why it happens. All I can say prediction is a word that sure don't work in this US immigration. You can not predict nothing just hope for the best & don't get upset if you find someone get approved even though he/she applied five yrs later than you did.

Great point. I am going to re-do the exam, its better to be safe than sorry. Just can't wait to get done with this process.

I made an appointment with a CIS civil surgeon to re-do my medical exams, I'm not taking a chance. Immigration in this country is the most confusing thing that I have ever come across, and I'm a financial engineer, I deal with the most abstruct financial situations!
