Medical Examination Questions

Hey everybody, I have a question about medical examination. I had chicken pox when I was a child, but they did blood test and my result came out negative? This is another story. They told me that I need to get the shot for chicken pox. I called and asked about that. First they told me that I can not get the vaccine since I just got my other shots? Then they told me that I need to wait a month to get that?

Anyone get their chicken pox vaccine right away without any problems? Where can I get the vaccine?
 
It's strange that they did a test for chickenpox. My doctor simply asked me when I contracted the disease, and put it in my medical record (to be submitted to the civil surgeon).

Chickenpox vaccine is administered in two shots that are about a month apart, that's probably what they mean.
 
Don't know if this helps, but we were given one dose then asked to come back in a month for the second, which fell after our interview. We were not question on it at the interview but when we went back for second dose we were told to take on records with us since it might be needed at POE. The only think our blood was tested for was Syphilis.
