Hi All,
140 is approved and wife is due in mid Feb. I am in dilemma, whether we should go for medical now or wait till mid Feb.
If we go for medical now she might get RFE later and that will delay the process.
Another option wait till Feb and then go for medical, but I am not sure if she can take MMR while nursing the baby, if not,she wont be able to complete the medical even after delivery.

If you have any related experience please post your valuable thoughts.

Thanks a bunch,
Pathik

She can have MMR when she is nursing the baby.

It\'s better to wait till she delivers.
She can very well get MMR when she is nursing. My wife did the same.

it\'s not advisable to take mmr while nursing

i asked my gyno and she told me it\'s not advisable to get mmr while nursing So we submitted i-485 without the mmr/skin test. if we gets an rfe we will see at that time. don\'t delay it and file for I-485. Even if we get rfe we will take the shot at that time but will not stop the other person case from approval. So my advice is go and file rather than waiting for another month. I did the same 2 months back

No Title

I am in a similar position. My wife delivered end of nov,and is nursing, but she was given MMR right after delivery without problems.
However, the pediatrician recommended against varicella, so we are wondering whether to give her varicella, get an antibody test, or just submit incomplete medical

We were in the same situation

Hi,

The doctor waived all the shots for my wife. We too were expecting an RFE, but lucky for us, there was no RFE and our 485 got approved.

Thanks

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions. I am thinking about going to Dr for physical(at least one visit)and then decide about the vaccines needed by her.

Thank you very much!
Bye
