Medical exam, immunizations

Hi,
I am new on this forum and really appreciate all the info provided.

I am a little confused about the medical exam and immunization process. I am filling I140 and 485 concurrently and the lawyer asked me to get the medical exam as well as the imminization. From what I understand, immunization records are required before filling but medical exam is done later.
Also, could I go to my PCP for the shots or is it mandatory to get it from an INS approved Dr.
Could someone please help me on this. Thanks

You can get the TB,HIV etc testing done thru your PCP. Your PCP also can administer the shots that are needed. You can take the lab test results along with the letter from your PCP to the INS approved medical facility or physician to get the sealed medical envolope. This would definitely save you some money. I did it the same way. INS approved facility charged me 100 for it.

cheers
