Medical Exam along with I-485

All Applicants,
Have you done your medical exam and sent it along with the original I-485 form when you field for Adjustment of Status?
On uscis.gov it says that all papers should be filed together in order for better processing but my lawyer says that I should get the exam when the interview is scheduled because the original exam can be expired and is valid for only 12 months. DOes anyone have any info to share ??? Thank you

It says very clearly on the I-485 form whether or not the I-693 needs to accompany it. It depends on where the I-485 is filled.

For NBC applications, We didnt file the I-693 along with the I-485. I did that at the time of the interview as the interview letter asked for it...
