Medical before 140/485

I have a question for all Gurus in this forum

Is there any medical test(taking shots) before I140/I485 approval ?

One of our friend had a medical test right after labour approval and before EAD. So was confused why didn't we receive anything

Medical examination (form I-693 Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status ) is a part of I-485 filing. Formally, I-693 expires in a year but the given that there is a backlog in I-485 processing USCIS extends validity of medical exam results from one year to another. Therefore, you usually take an exam once. Hope this helps!
