Hi everybody,

One of the test for medical I-693 form is test for syphillis

My wife has been tested for RPR positive ( test for syphillis)
but the RPR titers ( confirmation test ) were low last year.
We were upste on this and got advice from an infectious disease
expert on this.
He could not confirm the syphillis but said to be on the safe side
we should get penillicin treatment.
We took the treatment for my wife and myself( today said to take just in case).
Want to know if we should bring documents regarding the
evalutaion and treatment of this to the INS authorized
physician.
We are to get mediacls done for our I-485 in 2 weeks.
Will the physician understand with all the evidence which we bring.

Also follow up requirements for test positive for syphillis is
to submit document for evaluation and completion of treatment.

Please help.

why don\'t you check with an INS physician?

anyways you\'ve to call them to fix up an appointment.....so you can also check with them about this......another place to look is instructions for the medical form.....

info on medical form

Hi milli,
Info on medical forms give follow up information ...to
give evidence of evalution of treatment.
If venerable disease then to give documentation of
completion of treatmen to the civil surgeon ( INS doctor)

Thanks,
Punit

If you\'d taken the treatment

carry all those documents with you when you go to the INS physician. He will mark positive for the test and fill up details about the treament in the "Comments" field.

That\'s what he did for us when we tested positive for TB.

Hope it answers your questions.
