I am scheduled for 22nd jan for the CP interview
Started my Journey from Atl to New Delhi via Air France . The halt was at Paris Airport. The paris Airport is a total mess . The plane was not stopped at terminal hence we were taken to terminal by a bus where then I had to transfer to the terminal where I could catch the Flight to Delhi .
Again we had to go to Security check ...what a line ..it was nearly 1/2 mile long ....It took us an hour to go thru and just managed to reach the flight ...
The flight reached New Delhi 1 hr late ...2 of my bags were missing and 2 were broken ...
I lodged complaint at Air France office next to baggage claim.
They gave me Rs 3000 as delayed bagage loss. Since I hadalready taken baggage insurance from American exporess..I did not take the money and called Amex and gave all the details . I and my wife were allowed $500 per person of incidental charges till the bags arrived ...
The reason is delay of baggage was due to strike by Porters at Paris Airport .. so guys take baggage protection policy if flying by Airfrance.
Reached Delhi on 14th Jan in Morning .....Since I could not sleep I went directly at Dr KP jain Clinic for Medicals ...By the way I had no previos appointments .
Once I reached Dr Jain office ( showed him Duplicate appointment letter, one passport photo and passport is reqgd ) . He then gave me a slip to have Xrays done at B-45 Def Colony.. Its about 15minutes from his place .
X-rays were done in 30min and were charged Rs 200/
Came back to his office and then waited for 90 min before he did the Physical examinaton and other test.
He gavce me shots for Chicken pox , MMR and some other stuff ..I had to shell out Rs 2400 but for my wife since she had school record of her immunization ..nothing was given to her except the Physical exam ..
We were told to come at 5:30 to collect the reports ..
During the time to collect the reports we had passpoirt photos and immigration photos taken at ABC Color Studio...which is bang opposite KP Jain clinic.....no need to go to Kumar studio...
The guy charges Rs 50 for 4 immigration photos
At 5:30 PM we recvd the sealed reports and the Phots as well
