What a great news to start the day with for those who have been stuck in the "name check" experience. The Media is now giving full attention to this problem . Here is a compilation of news coverage by different newspapers/TV stations, etc.

Hopefully, someone will do their jobs more properly at the USCIS!

I heard it on NPR as well this morning. Since this is a class-action lawsuit, the benefits could trickle down to many of us as well who are waiting. The key words in the articles were:

"The suit asks for a time limit for name checks and a speedy review of the plaintiffs' own applications"

under chertoff, Homeland security and its various agencies are a poorly managed and ineffective wasteland for taxpayers' money.

This was also on radio on almost every major radio station yesterday here in the Bay Area.

That is good news.
At least someone is trying to do something about this non-sense delay.
