meaning of this AVM message ?

Hi folks,

The AVM message says 'the results for fingerprints were collected and are pending review'. What does this mean - does it mean my case has been assigned to an officer and is being worked on ? or does it mean it has again gone into cold storage and hasn't even reached the 'processing has resumed stage' ?

It is just before getting into that "Cold Storage" stage (I mean one step before getting into "processing resumed" state).

it just means that your message changed!

Do no attempt to draw any conclusions...people have waited on processing resumed for 8 months and have got approvals in the mail with AVM messages indicating RFEs have been sent...call the INS to make sure that your FP results have been received after that there is nothing much we can do
 
what the heck!

Working with INS is worse than trying to place an order in a wayside chinese joint that has no menu with a waiter who doesn't speak english.

I'll call the IIO next week (when it'll be 6 months of filing 485) and see what lingo he/she speaks.

(CYA stuff: no offence whatsoever intended towards anyone whosoever)
