Meaning of LUD

I did my FP1 on 08/24 and message changed on 8/29, 8/30 saying processing has been resummed. There was no change in LD or message after that, I have applied for EAD2, AP2 and all got approved except my wifes AP2, there was RFE and law firm replied to that on 12/08..online status for AP changed.

All the sudden there was change in LUD for myself and spouse on 12/14 with no message change.. what could be the reason...pls advice.

Your file was touched / looked at for some reason. Happens often without a message change... could be an approval in the offing (hopefully not a RFE)

Finally the LUD on my 485 changed from 01/29/04 to 12/16/04. But I am wondering if it is related to the AP application filed a few days ago. AP LUD changed on 12/14/04.
Expert opinions appreciated. My details are as follows

140/485 concurrent EB3 - filed on 01/26/04
485 LUD change 1/29/04 and 12/16/04 (FP messages sent and processing never updated in the 485 message)

FP myself - FP Date 10/23/04 , did early FP in Sanjose on 09/25/04
AP filed on 12/10/04 (E-file), LUD change on 12/13/, 12/14, 12/15

Wife 485 filed on 04/13/04
485 LUD 04/15/04 and 12/16/04
No FP yet
AP filed on 12/10/04 (E-file), LUD change on 12/13/, 12/14, 12/15

Any thoughts on the above LUD pattern?
