Hello

Did anyone know what IO does if me and my wife are at the same interview time. The reason why I am asking because we have a lawyer go with us to the interview. If me and my wife get called in the same time, what are going to do? Or the lawyer and I go in first and then my wife gets called? Did anyone have this experience??
Thanks,

Well it's your choice:

1. Save your money, don't bring the lawyer to the interview,
or
2. Decide which one of you will be interviewed without the lawyer if you are interviewed at the same time
or
3. Find another lawyer, perhaps from the same law firm, so both of you can be assured of having a lawyer with you.

If you don't have any complications like tax issues, criminal record, extensive travel abroad, or questionable circumstances related to the approval of your green card (e.g. it's an employment-based green card and your employer was fined for immigration violations), I would strongly recommend #1. The lawyer (presumably) helped you prepare your applications, so there really isn't anything more for them to do for you if you don't have any complications at this point.

2. Decide which one of you will be interviewed without the lawyer if you are interviewed at the same time

If they already submiited lawyer form, the IO will ask them individuallky if they want to waiver the presence of a lawyer before interview

I personally think the USCIS will accomodate request for a lawyer's present and it is easy to do. If the second person
is called while teh first person with lawyer has not been back. The second person can tell the USCIS Io he/she
need that lawyer who is with his/her spouse being interviewed., then the IO will just intervioew another candiate first.

This will not work if everyone, IO or applicants, need to be on the spot at exactly the same time as scheduled.
but we all know most of people won't be called until 30-2 hours past the scheduled time anyway

Dont worry about it at all. Generally, the computer schedules the spouses for the same time - if they are being interviewed on the same date. When you go for the interview, have your lawyer submit the interview letter for you. At that time, the lawyer can explain that he needs to be with both during the interview.
