Hi,
I files I-130/I-485 through marriage(husband is USC) in Charllote, NC last September, and received the notice on Octorber 27th from MCS.
On those receipt notices, there are no priority date or processing time, on the online status, it states it is taking 30-90 days for processing I-130 and 120-180 days for 485.
It's been 90 days for I-130, and I haven't heard anything yet(althought I have done my FP and biometrics in Nov). I called the 1-800 numbers, the lady told me that the date was not always accurate, and she checked the processing time for MCS(National Benifit Center), it is processing Nov 2001 and she said there is nothing she could do and I had to wait until my date is due(which is Oct 27, 2003). Is that true?
I am really confused here, it seems that the process date for I-485 in Charllote is Dec 1, 2002 and it's ahead of I-130 in MSC. Without I-130 being approved, how can they process I-485?
I thought the whole transferring the application on marriage base to MSC is to speed up the process, and it's NOT! what a joke. If they didn't mean to process the application within the time frame they put online(30-90 days), why did they ever mention it?
I am kind of frustrated and don't know whatelse I can do, maybe I should call again to get different agent, this lady did not sound nice to me.
Thanks,
