May I get my EAD at the same day in Philadelphia Local office?

I don\'t know what is the process these days in philly but in December, I got EAD on the same day. Just fill the form and take a copy of the 485 receipt, Check, signature card and old EAD if you have one. They did not take our pics because they used their own camera. Were arrived at 7.00 AM and were out with EAD card by 11.00 AM.
 
Can we apply for renewal of EAD that way?

I just called today and the lady told me that I am supposed to apply to Vermont for that. I told her that their web site says I can get it renewed there. She said, she is telling me what the rule is? I am confused? I know few people who got it done earlier.
 
I recently applied through the Lawyer

But there is another friend on mine who applied to VSC by his own.
* U need 2 photographs
* 485 Reciepts
* No Signature card required
* Check of 120$

Send it to INS and U will get it in 1 month now a days
 
I got my EAD from Philly a few months ago.

You need to get the form from 1600 Cawlohill (Spelling ??) Street and fill it,submit it with the fee. Remember they do not take Cash anymore. Either Certified Check or personal Check.
They will inform you by post the date and time you can come and get your EAD. On the apponted day they will take your photo by their cameras and give you the EAD card.
 
No more EAD renewals at the local INS

I just came back from the Philly INS. They said they don\'t renew the EAD and I have to apply to the service center where my I-485 is pending.
 
Did you also check for iEAD?

Is philly giving iEAD instantly? do they give even if it is less than 90 days from application RD? Pl. reply
