May I change company in other state belonging other service center

Hi Everyone,
I desperately need advice for my situation now.
My I-140 is approved, and my I-485 has submitted more than 180 days in TSC, EAD card got it already.
May I change my job to one company in Chicago, which belongs to anther Service Center?
Really need help.

I think Ac21 doesn't mention about different state issue, but lots of people use Ac21 to join company in different state.
It shouldn't be problem as long as job is similar and I-485 pening for >180 days, other thing i would think is try to compare salary to same (to specified in LC), it's lots of gray area in Ac21 so I think you shouldn't have any problem, but consult lawyer to find out his comfart level and get advise if there is any complication.


Other only thing might happen, that your file will be trasfer to new service center, and sometime it delay the process although you will keep your current priority date.

Once I can move freely to a new job without the limitation of status, then, I can truely feel the freedom of U.S.

The sky is so broad and high. But I even didn't know that before I slove my status problem!
