Looks like an RFE is headed my way, based on what the local congressman's constituent liasion person just e-mailed me. She couldn't say what the RFE was for though, as the 'files were in clerical'. We can all probably make reasonable guesses as to what that means, but if there is anyone out there who has an exact translation, that would be greatly appreciated.

can you post your case details here. Is it true that you have not
received any RFE so far ?

also your congressman's office seems to be very proactive - all I hear from my senator's offices is they processing Sep. 30 cases and I still have months to go (despite case workers assigned to my case).

That's right, no RFE thus far

The essential details (excluding daughter's fingerprinting mid-course after she turned 14) are:

RD: 9/13/01
ND: 10/16/01
FP: 1/17/02
FP2: 11/24/03 (second fingerprinting triggered by some helpful prodding by the congressman's office)
