485 Approved-May be follow up on SR triggers 485

Hi All,

I had read in this post somewhere that someone had done a follow up on the SR and had their 485 approved that very day.So I thought would try my luck yesterday.

Had a SR pending since June and had not heard the response .Called NSC for a follow up she said there was no response from the Texas service Center and she would send my request again. Call back after 45 days. Last night had 2 emails CARD PRODUCTION ordered. Me and my spouse were approved.

Hope someone else can try it too and may be have approval emails by the end of the day.

NO LUD's after transfer not even after FP2
Just called the TSC ,all the times with diff answers

I don't think that would have made any difference. My case was transferred to NSC from CSC and I had put a SR on Jun 01, 2007 which never got assigned to anyone. I have put another Follow-up SR just 2 days ago but nothing so far

Nebraska IO said, he can see these two SRs but can not do anything about it since both of them have to be opened by CSC first and then forward it to Nebraska.....the whole system SUCKS.

BTW, did your SR Number end with VSC or TSC ?

It is not true.. if we raise SR we get approved..

yes.. the whole system SUCKS.

It is very frustrating.. when I see others who have applied much ahead of me and getting approval from same country and same EB category..

If this is the case.. they why DID USCIS / LAW made these categories.. I dont know.. It is all B.S.

IT is very very frustrating.. and tensioning.. no other words to tell.

Wife, two kids and myselfs I-485 got approved on 7/16 (e-mail messages from USCIS).
It was our time I guess; however we did initiate a SR one day earlier.

Been a silent follower of this forum for around three years--- learned a lot via this forum--- thankyou to everybody.

I am--- EB2, India; PD sept. 03;I-485 RD jan. 05; VSC to TSC 3/15; 2nd FP 5/8/07.

Yes I waited for 30 days before the follow up though I was told to wait 45 days.

And others I just said MAY BE it triggered not for sure.
