max stay away

any idea on h-4 how long can a person stay away from U.S in his/her home country.if i stay away for an year will i have problem reentring U.S?

if in an year a person stays for less than 6months a year is it considered as abscence for 1 yr?can i recapture my 6yrs stay on h visa?

i think being in H4.........it should not be problem re-entering usa after any amount of time....(may be revalidation of visa required...which is doubt if the visa is valid till atleast after 6 months of entry date...)...provided of course that H1 is also in status at that time..

i need to complete my education back home as well,which is due 1 yr.so was wondering if i can stay away that long?my i-94 is valid till feb 2006 .
