What if LC requirement is mentioned simply as Master's Degree and nothing mentioned whether a foreign equivalent will be accepted or not what are the chances for I-140- Denial without giving much thought or chances of approval at NSC.

Here are my case details: Its a LC substitution case at NSC.

I have Masters Degree in EE from INDIA which is evaluated as equivalent to 2 years U.S. Masters Degree, however requirements on LC is as follows (NOTE THAT NOTHING IS MENTIONED IF A FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IS ACCEPTABLE OR NOT):

14. Education: Master's Degree
Field of Study: CS, Math, EE, CE, Telecommunication Engg.

15. Special Requirements:
None Specified.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in any one of the listed disciplines and five years of progressively more responsible experience in lieu of Master's plus two years experience

for eg ME, MTech would be equivalent to USA MS ..but not MCA ( since it is 3+2 years in India) ..again to classify you as EB2 or EB3 depends on your experience and prevailign wage received.

BE (4 years ) is equivalent to USA BS ..So M.E. would be 6 years total education(4+2)

mad4gc,
Thanks but you misunderstood my question, please read my above post again. My question was that in the education requirement LC says: Master's Degree it does not says Master's Degree or Equivalent so question is that I meet the degree requirement by virtue of an Indian degree (M.Tech - IIT). AND AGAIN in the requirement it does not says or Equivalent. When equivalent is mentioned then you are fine if you meet the degree requirement by virtue of an Indian/FOREIGN degree but when or equivalent is not mentioned in the Education requirement in the LC ETA 750 form column 14 or 15 then what? does that means that Degree requirement should be meet by having a US degree and not a foreign equivalent as equivalent is not mentioned in the requirement (please: See my above post for details)?
