Hi, I'm a US citizen currently in the US, and my fiance is from New Zealand. We are planning on getting married in December, in New Zealand and then coming back to the US. My questions are: Can we start the application process now? Will she have to wait until the paper work is processed to come back, or can she come back immediately? Is it possible to come on a tourist visa and then apply for a change of status? Our main concern is having to wait. Thanks for your responses.
