My wife's sister has a weird/different problem which I do not know the answer to and can't seem to google it.
Her sister (illegal) has a 5-year old son with a US Citizen. 3 years ago he did something stupid (involving a gun) and is in jail for 10 years. She was going to marry him before the whole prison thing and has now decided to go ahead with it again. She is also wondering about getting her green card through the marriage.
I personally don't see how USCIS would let it happen, but my wife and her went to some lawyer in Miami that advertises on TV and supposedly he said that he has had a case similar to hers and was able to do it.
Anyone have any experience like this?
