marrying a foreigner

Hi all,

Im US Green Card holder and will become a citizen after 2 years. I like
to marry a person who is in india within 1 year.I heard that If I apply for I-130 for him it will take long time to get a visa no.So im wondering whether I have to wait for 2 year so that I could apply a K/K3 visa which takes less time.
Or is there is any option so that I could apply for I-130 and I could bring him as soon as I get the citizenship.

You could apply I-130 after you get married, and then upgrade the petition once you become a USC. OR get married after you become a USC. I think the timelines for both options would not be significantly different from each other.
