Marry her or wait for citizenship

I am currently engaged to my girl friend of one year and she has a citizenship interview in April. I wonder if it will be wise to marry her before she gets her citizenship or wait until she gets it. If i marry her immediately after she gets it, i am afraid they might think it is a fake marriage while its real.
Secondly when we get married, do we file i-130 together with i-485 or do we send either first and wait?

Are you in the US? If yes, are you in a legal immigration status? Your answers to both questions would affect the pros and cons of the different options of when to get married and when to file the immigration paperwork.

They will assume your marriage is fake no matter what the situation is. You'll have to prove that your marriage is legit further down the line. For now, go ahead and marry her, and upgrade your packet once she becomes a citizen.

i am in the U.S but i am out out of status on my f1 visa
Then you might want to wait until after her citizenship is completed to get married. Otherwise if you get married before that she'll have to update USCIS about the marriage, which potentially brings your lack of status to their attention, which exposes you to deportation and you wouldn't get any protection from being married to her because she isn't a citizen yet.

I married a GC in my own country. I was on H1 at that time. She is here with me and has become a citizen. How should I proceed ??.. I 130 and I 485 ???
