Married when in F1

A Friend of mine who is in F1 is married to another friend on L1.

The L1 is expiring . F1 student is graduating in May and will stay in US on EAD for another one year. Is there any possibility that the L1 person can join the spouse in this duration.

Please answer this is an urgent issue

Yes, apply for F2 by filing form I-539 and supporting documents, which might include proof that that he/she intends to return back to home country. Hopefully he/she has not submitted an immigrant petition. Also check with the school's international students advisor as there are could be some SEVIS related issues.
