I have joined this forum couple of days ago. I find all the information in here very interested and useful.
However, I could not find the answers I was interested in.
My story is as follows:
I will get married to my fiancee, American citizen, this upcoming fall (October).
He used to be in the active duty, but now is in the reserve. He got a very good offer to go to Kuwait for a year. He will be leaving in November.
I am here in the States on a J-1 visa working as a special ed. teacher.
My questions are:
1. How would I be able to apply for the adjustment of status given the circumstances with my future husband being deployed to Kuwait?
2. What would the steps be in this situation?
