Married Less than 2 years

My wife and I got married a little over a week ago.
We want to apply for my green card ASAP.

1) We both live in the same city, same borough(Brooklyn) but we have two apartments. This is primarily because our respective leases end at different times. My lease ends dec 2013, while her lease ends april 2014. For all intents and purposes I have moved into her apartment but most of my mail and things connected to me still have my old address. I am concerned about the "proof of marriage". Besides the marriage certificate, we won't have much else, no joint lease or joint banking accounts. Also how many affidavits do we need?

2) Seeing as most of my things are still connected to the old apartment am I "lying", if on the form I130 I use her address

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

It's not lying. Just use the address you guys are living at now. It doesn't matter that a lot of you mail goes to the other address. If you don't have a joint account, open one now. You can also use photos and stuff. They will understand that you're just married and don't have much.

Where possible, change the mailings to make them go where you're living together now. And change the address on your state ID or driver's license. Then you can bring the mail with your new joint address to the interview.

Also how many affidavits do we need?
Usually none. Those affidavits are for people whose other evidence is weak.
