Married In US what to do?

I married in the United States. I entered as a canadian citizen visitor and after a discussion with my wife about the distance we decided to marry here in the US. So do i need a K visa to work? or now that we are married what is the fastest way for myself to get work here in the US?

K- seeing as you entered the States without intent to marry whilst you were here, then you are free to adjust status and become a permanent resident. Of course the 'safest' and most sure fire way would be to return back to Canada and apply for a K3........however, as you did not intend to marry, then you 'should' have a successful adjustment of status.
