Married in good faith.

I married my wife six months ago in totally good faith.
The main reason for getting married was because she was pregnant and she told me it was mine, i found out after she had the baby that it wasn't mine and now she has left me and gone back to the father of the child. I desperatly need to know if I can stay here in the US. I don't want to go back to the UK the US is my home now.

I need to know if i can??

1, Carry on with my I-485 application by my self if we get divorced.
2, Can she go with me to UCIS and explane our situation and explane to them what she has done to me so that i may persue my I-485 solo , as she is very sorry for what she has done to me.

From the little I know about family based immigration, you are in trouble.

At this point, you seem to have a 485 pending (has your I131 been approved yet ?).
In family based cases, they will require you to come for an interview (with your wife). That is the first point in time when they try to find out whether your marriage is legit. No wife-->no adjustment of status.

(There are some regulations exempting you if you can claim to be the victim of domestic abuse. You won't be able to claim that if she just dumped you.)

You might want to look into getting an employer to sponsor you for a work-based visa (H1b) and to change to that status. After your wife has filed for you, the non-immigrant categories (visitors/student/graduatestudent) will not be available to you anymore.

Talk to a good lawyer (not the usual bottom-feeder family immigration shyster). You want to be sure that you don't fall out of status. If your wife withdraws her petition for your immigration that could happen pretty quick. It could jeopardize any future immigration plans. DO NOT STAY IN THE COUNTRY IN THE HOPE THAT EVENTUALLY 'EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT' BECAUSE IT DOESN'T DO THAT ANYMORE.

The Only thing you can do now is GET A REAL GOOD LAWYER ......
or you could try and get back with your wife......but then again she seems like a total
SLUT.......( sorry, but she is...)

If she is willing to attend the interview with you, there is a chance. It ain't easy though. The good faith needs to be very apparent and it will be a very up-hill battle. Probably will end up at the Board of Immigration Appeals and before an Immigration Judge before this all works itself out. You are in for a long road (most likely).
