Married for 3 years to US citizen but GC only for .Can I apply for Citizenship?

Hi,
I have been married to a US citizen for almost 3 yeas(September) but I`ve only got my GC 1 year later. Now, I am supposed to re-apply for the 10 year GC since I was given the 2 year one. Can I apply for citizenship since we are married for 3 years? Can I apply 3 months before the 3 year anniversary?

Nope. The rule is you have to be a legal permanent resident for at least 3 years AND you must have been married to a US citizen for at least 3 years.

So in your case, look at the "Resident since" date on your green card. Add 3 years and subtract 90 days (it is 90 days not 3 months!), that's when you are eligible to send in your application.
