I agree. Take a look at the "removal of conditions" form, you'd have to prove overwhelmingly that your marriage wasn't fake by getting people to sign affidavits and possibly testify for you.

Hi, I am in a similar situation. And after having made numerous enquiries I think it will be wise to stick on to the marriage till Jan 2005 when I will qualify to apply for removal of conditional status. But do you know whether I can apply for divorce immediately after doing so or will it be necessary for me to hang on with my wife till I get my permanent GC? I had my initial interview in India before I got my temp conditional GC. Does anybody have an idea will be called for an interview in the US b4 removal of conditional status.
