Hello!
I desperately need help! I'm (an american citizen) going to marry a girl who came to US on a student visa, but overstayed it already from 2002 (5 years).Unfortunately we cant afford right now paying lawers fees, and i couldn't collect all the correct info through the net. Can you please tell me the steps that we should make from getting a marriage certificate to filing all the needed paperwork. The small problem i believe is that all these 5 years she's been working "off-the-books", so she was not paying taxes, how can we explain it to the clerks, should we say she just didnt work those yrs and her family was supporting her? What is the best way out of this situation? Any of your advice will be greatly appreciated, sorry but i'm really confused with all the needed paperwork requirements.
Thank you
