Marriage to a non-resident alien...

Hi everyone,

My fiancee and I would like to get married in the US but only if she can continue to visit me on her 10-year multiple-entry visa. We're waiting for me to get citizenship before attempting to adjust her status.

So my question is, does being married to a non-resident alien affect the INS officer's decision? I've seen a few posts relating to spouses on student/working visas, but not a tourist visa.

Thanks in advance.

Oops, I meant my naturalization interview, not her POE screening. We're willing to risk her being denied entry, so long as it doesn't jeopardize my naturalization.

My main worry is with tax filing. If we get married I'll have to put that on my 1040, in addition to registering her with an ITIN. I have no idea how an INS officer would factor this into granting me citizenship.
