Marriage Question, Please help, thanks

Hi all.
I submitted my application as Skilled worker last year. And last month I received the second letter about medical examination and other documents. Everything is smooth.

Now, I hope to marry with my boyfriend, a Canadian Permanent Resident. Some friends said if I married, my application case would be ceased, because my marriage status is changed. But my boyfriend is PR, he will not be my dependant in my application.

My question is: if I marry with my boyfriend, will my case be affected?

You can get married without prob. You just have to inform CIC abt ur marriage and that shouldn't affect your PR application
