Marriage just before/after CP interview

Hi

Can anyone please share their experiences, who got married just before or just after the CP interview.

If you got married just before interview, were you able to take your spouse along with you for the interview and did your spouse also get GC visa stamping?

Were there any issues?

u just cannot take ur wife

for the CP interview if u got married just before the CP interview ...

She will have to file a separate P3 with the consulate and then the consulate will review the case and probably take around 2 months to give her an interview date....

As long as u are married before the u enter back into the US and become a GC holder, and u have submitted ur Wife's paperwork to the consulate, it should be fine ...except for the wait for u and ur wife .......

Actually, i have already gone thorugh this article, it gives good info. I am trying to see if someone did this recently and successfully got GC for their dependent as well.

Have u heard of anyone doing this recently....

U will have to postpone ur interview to match the delay caused due to her paperwork

Also, I know of a guy who did this in Aug last year ... have sent him an email and hopefully he should respond ..
