If you file I-824 to do CP, I believe it takes around 6 months. Then, one has to send packet 3 after receiving them from consulate. If we follow this route, is it possible to get married while I-824 is pending, and bring my wife on H4 and add her to the GC process. I just got my I140 cleared. And I am getting married in April. And my consulate would be Chennai. So, I wish to file for I-824 if possible and then get married. Will this cause any problem in getting H4 for my wife? And will I be able to add her to the GC process?
