Marriage Certificate and H4 time needed in India

I want to go to Mumbai, India and get married before filing I485. Now the questions are
1. If I am doing a court marriage, Hom much time do I need to marry and get a marriage

certificate?
2. If I am doing an arranged marriage(Hindu traditional), How much time it takes to get a

marriage certificate after an arranged marriage?
3. Once I have got the marriage certificate, how much time can it take for getting an H4

for my wife(applying in Mumbai or Delhi)?
4. Is it mandatory to get my wife\'s sirname changed on her passport before applying for

H4?
5. Is there any way I can get marriage certificate and H4 vis with in a week of my

marriage(court or arranged)?

As soon as you are married and receive a marriage cert in India, you should be able to go to the consulate and get an H-4 for your wife. U.S. for immigration purposes does not differentiate between arranged and non-arranged marriages.
