I am about to dive into filing the I-129F soon, but I have a few question.
Background: I am a USC, she is Japanese citizen.
1. It says that we need to wed within 90 days.. does that mean we have to go and put on a full ceremony? If possible, I would like to do a simple signing of the marriage papers at the court house, and do a full-on wedding in about 2 years when we have enough funds for a decent ceremony.
2. Once I apply for the I-129F (which seems like it will take about a year to process/approve), can she come to the U.S. on a tourist visa?
3. She wants to work here ASAP.. When is the earliest she start working "legally"?
