Dear Alren, KD, Raju and others,

I was born and married in Mumbai.

1. My Birth Certificate is issued by the Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika, Public Health Department (translated as Greater Bombay Municipal Corporation). This was issued in 2001.

2. The marriage certificate was issued by the Registrat of Marriage and was issued under the Bobbay Registration of Marriage Act 1953.

I have just one question. Are the above certificates ok or do I need any thing else.

Feedback is appreciated, especially from folks born / married in Mumbai and who did their CP from Mumbai consulate .

Thanks,

BH

{This being an official document by the responsible department, it should suffice. While I don't recommend, if you want to be extra careful, then take
one affidavit from your parent}

{The same goes for this. However carry few marriage photos, marriage invitation card as additional evidence}

{I am NOT speaking from personal experiene with Mumbai}

Thanks,
