Marriage between F1students

Hi, everyone!

I have seen lots of threads of people on F1 visas wanting to marry a US citizen.
However this is not my case...
My fiancee and I are international students and will be entering the States on an F1 visa. We're both admitted for a master's degree.
I just wanted to know if we could get married in the States.
The second question that comes with this is: if we got married and either of us got the chance to get a OPT and the other didn't, how would that work? We'd have to change our status to f2?

Yes, anyone can get married. It's not a problem.

Yes, OPT is F1, so if the other spouse doesn't have status, they would use F2.
