Marriage based green card application which A# to use ?

Hi ,

I have an approved I-140 application from my employer and I am waiting for the date to become current until I can apply for 485 (employment based).

Meanwhile I got married and my spouse is a US citizen. Now I am planning to apply for the family based green card. But on all the family based green card application forms they ask for A#.

Now my question is, should I use the A# that is on my employment based I-140 on the family based green card forms. Or should I not mention that A# on the family based green card forms.

I just want to know if could use the A# that is on my approved employment based I-140, on the Family based 485 and other forms.
 
You can use the A# u have now. I used teh student based Work permit A# when applying for 485. Just send a copy of of front and back of the card that mentions the A# with ur application.

The reason I was worried was because, I did not want USCIS to mix my employment based case with the marriage based case. Since the A# I have right now is from the employment based I-140.
