Marriage and immigration laws

Hi, I'm a U.S. citizen who is going to marry an English woman. We both want to get married in England, but will live here in the States for my education etc. Is that at all possible? Or will we have to get married here? Any and all comments appreciated.

You can get married anywhere you want. It just depends what route you want to take. If you get married there, she would have to apply for an immigrant visa in England- London I presume. Not sure about timeline, probably no more than 6 months.
If you decide to get married in the US, she can apply for a K-1(fiancee Visa) and come and get married here and apply for GC here.
