Marriage after I-130 approved?

Hi,

a friend of mine just got her I-130 approved after waiting for several years (Family preference 2nd a), her mom who is a permanent resident applied for her.

But she just got married last week and then saw the approval letter, so the question is, can she continue the process and file I-485 even since she got married, or is everything lost now? (Marriage was after I-130 approval)

She got married before completing the entire I-485 or consular processing including green card approval, so her I-130 is nullified. Unless her mother became a US citizen before your friend got married.
